Curb

Curb is a series of modularly manufactured children’s chairs. By simplifying and breaking down the chair into distinct components, the chair can be easily and quickly manufactured. The straightforward system allows for slight modifications of certain components to create numerous different forms for varying purposes and uses.

Multiple bent components of the chair could be made simultaneously and cut to size. Biscuits were used to discreetly fortify the joint, but not affect the profile. Straight components only need to be cut to the specified length. All components are then fitted together to create the chair.
